A classic corduroy cap with a hand-embroidered herring patch — a symbol closely connected to Northern Germany and one of my favorites this season. I stitched around 500 tiny stitches into each herring and chose dusty green and dusty blue to echo the quiet, maritime tones of Hamburg and the northern coast.
